Workshops & Mentoring
River Street is happy to offer workshops and mentoring with multi-genre writer, Hollay Ghadery. Hollay has her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Guelph. Her fiction, non-fiction, and poetry have been published in various literary journals, including The Malahat Review, Room, CAROUSEL, The Antigonish Review, Grain, and The Fiddlehead. Fuse, her memoir of mixed-race identity and mental health, was released by Guernica Editions’ MiroLand imprint in Spring 2021. Her debut collection of poetry, Rebellion Box, was published in spring 2023 with Radiant Press. Widow Fantasies, her collection of short fiction, is due out with Gordon Hill Press in 2024.
Hollay facilitates both one-on-one mentoring and group workshops at libraries, schools, and other institutions. She also does specialized nature-based mentoring and small workshops at her rural writing retreat in Ontario. Contact us if you’re interested in workshops and mentoring.
